Class 1 Driver Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our logistics team in Chatham, United Kingdom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods across the UK, adhering to road and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Class 1 vehicles for the transportation of goods, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain the vehicle's condition.
  • Follow scheduled routes and deliver goods on time, meeting customer expectations.
  • Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, prioritizing efficiency and safety.
  • Ensure adherence to UK driving regulations, including tachograph laws, and report any issues to management.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with the logistics team.
Requirements:
  • Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving license.
  • Driver CPC qualification and a valid tachograph card.
  • Previous experience in long-haul or multi-drop driving, with a strong understanding of UK road networks.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, with good time management and customer service skills.
