Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Professional to join our team at Safety Talent. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a challenging role in the construction sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and implementing health and safety across various sites. This will involve a mix of working from home, the office, and site visits, with regular travel to sites in Bedfordshire and surrounding areas. A full UK driver's license is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and ongoing review of health and safety protocols for each site.
  • Provide guidance and advice to site teams on SHE management systems.
  • Undertake site inspections and attend Site Review Meetings.
  • Support the identification and management of SHE risks, issues, and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a construction/civils health and safety role.
  • Holding a NEBOSH certificate or similar qualification.
  • Good understanding of relevant SHEQ legislation and industry standards.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
