Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a prominent logistics company. This exciting role offers a chance to join a well-established team and contribute to their ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate your HGV Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant guidelines and regulations.
  • Complete scheduled deliveries and collections promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure the secure transportation of goods throughout each journey.
  • Maintain meticulous records of deliveries and conduct thorough vehicle checks.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Valid UK HGV Class 1 licence.
  • CPC card and valid tachograph (tacho) card.
  • Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver.
  • Comprehensive understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
