Role Overview: As a Salesforce Technical Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to provide technical proficiency in Salesforce development and integration. You will engage closely with clients to comprehend their business needs, craft bespoke solutions, and guarantee effective implementation and deployment. This position entails a blend of hands-on development, technical mentorship, and strategic advisory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to collect and evaluate their business requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications.
- Design and create tailored Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and various Salesforce technologies.
- Facilitate the integration of Salesforce with other systems and applications, ensuring smooth data flow and interoperability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and other team members.
- Conduct code reviews, uphold best practices, and maintain high standards of code quality.
- Execute data migrations, system integrations, and configurations of Salesforce instances.
- Diagnose and resolve technical challenges, delivering timely and effective solutions.
- Stay informed about Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, applying this knowledge to client projects.
- Prepare and present technical documentation, training, and support to clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline with a minimum 2.1 grade.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II) are highly desirable.
- 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce development and technical consulting.
- Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, SOQL, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, security protocols, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
