Senior Pharmacist

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to lead our Pharmacy Directorate Team in delivering high-quality, safe, and effective care across Joined Up Care Derbyshire.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership to the Pharmacy Team, working closely with the Assistant Director of Pharmacy and other senior leaders.
- Strategic Planning and Delivery: Support the development and delivery of strategic plans for the Pharmacy Directorate Team, including population health management, prevention, and reducing health inequalities.
- Resource Management and Stakeholder Engagement: Manage resources, build and maintain stakeholder networks, and coordinate the work of the Pharmacy Directorate Team.
- Project Management and Leadership: Lead on specific projects and services, including staff management, and ensure a coordinated approach across Derbyshire.
- Pharmacy Integration and Professional Advice: Lead on the integration of pharmacy professionals across the Integrated Care System (ICS), providing professional advice and guidance on immunization and vaccinations.
- Pharmacy Directorate Team Planning and Development: Lead the effective planning, development, and delivery of the ICB's Pharmacy Directorate Team plan, ensuring its delivery for designated strategic areas.
- Future Developments in Pharmacy and Prescribing: Guide future developments in pharmacy, medicines, prescribing, and related fields at the planning and implementation stages.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with the Pharmacy Directorate Team, ICB, and ICS teams to provide a coordinated approach to lead on agreed projects for the benefit of the ICB and ICS.
- Experience as a Pharmacist with leadership skills, including managing teams, strategic planning, and delivery.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders and teams across the ICB and ICS.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage resources and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of pharmacy and medicines management, including population health management and reducing health inequalities.
