Competitive Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Our client, a leading plastic manufacturing company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing planned and reactive maintenance tasks on a variety of industrial equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems
  • Identify and troubleshoot faults on industrial equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems
  • Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty equipment, including electrical and mechanical components
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Assist with training and development of junior team members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Several years of experience as an industrial Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
  • Experience working with electrical and mechanical systems, including fault finding and repair
  • Previous experience in injection moulding or plastic manufacturing (desirable)
  • NVQ level 3 or above in electrical/mechanical engineering
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Willingness to further develop your skills and complete necessary training
