Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering Team in Herefordshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high-quality and efficiency standards that have positioned our company as one of the UK's largest food businesses within the poultry sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and Breakdown/Reactive Maintenance of Plant and Equipment.
- Ensure the Engineering maintenance is carried out in line with the current schedule and effective corrective action is taken.
- Communicate unscheduled breakdowns to Management and work with the operations department to minimise plant disruption.
- Record and identify spare parts used and report to the Engineering Manager.
- Ensure Maintenance and Engineering practices are audit compliant and follow good engineering standards and hygiene practice.
Requirements:
- Time served Multi-skilled Apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Manufacturing experience.
- IEE 17th or 18th Edition and PLC experience are desirable.
