About the Role:We are looking for a skilled and experienced Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to a 15-year-old client with complex medical needs. The successful candidate will work as part of a close-knit team to ensure the client's physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide personal care and support to the client, including tube feeding, suctioning, and repositioning.
- Assist with morning routines, including ironing and laundry.
- Prepare PEG feeds and water, and clean equipment such as suction machines and nebulizers.
- Work collaboratively with the client's care team to ensure seamless care and support.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience supporting clients with complex care needs, including tube feeding and suctioning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A calm and patient demeanor, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Basic skills in areas such as manual handling and hoisting.
