About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Lawyer to join our team at Arora Management Services Ltd. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide expert advice on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the General Counsel in delivering strategic projects and addressing the day-to-day needs of the company
  • Negotiate, draft, and review complex commercial contracts
  • Act with autonomy and take responsibility for carrying out and completing assigned tasks and projects
  • Provide general legal advice and support, including research, legislative updates, and assistance with compliance matters
  • Deal effectively with a broad range of legal matters, including corporate, commercial, regulatory, financial services, and litigious matters
  • Manage internal processes and ensure proper stakeholder engagement and good governance throughout the contract lifecycle
  • Support the GC in managing outside legal counsel when appropriate
  • Work with the General Counsel to develop and roll out new template agreements, policies, and legal procedures, and ensure all legal processes and procedures are being followed and adhered to
Requirements
  • Legal Qualification - Qualified UK solicitor with 0-3 years PQE experience (will consider other PQE levels and qualified lawyers from other common law jurisdictions with eligibility to sit QLT)
  • Methodical approach with an attention to detail
  • Strong commercial outlook and pragmatic approach to legal practice
  • Solid training from a reputable law firm and/or business
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced, commercial, and demanding environment
