Position Overview
hVIVO is in search of a dedicated Research Assistant to enhance our laboratory operations in East London. The RA will be instrumental in facilitating clinical research, managing sample processing, conducting assays, and performing data evaluations. Our laboratory is engaged in both internal and external clinical studies, utilizing a diverse range of analytical methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute sample processing and analytical assessments
- Perform routine laboratory upkeep and maintenance
- Ensure the preservation of sample quality
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Manage time and resources in an organized manner
- Complete tasks within established timelines
- Provide data that complies with Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
- Assist in the organization and monitoring of sample storage
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant scientific discipline
- Experience adhering to GCP and MHRA regulations
- Prior experience in a Contract Research Organization (CRO) or pharmaceutical setting
- Knowledge in virology or experience in a biomedical laboratory
