About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team on Ward A11, a 27-bedded mixed Cardiology Ward at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients, assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, and meeting nutritional needs while maintaining dignity and respect.
  • Contribute to the safety and cleanliness of the environment, ensuring good documentation and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, under the supervision of a registered nurse, to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Carry out routine administrative and clerical tasks, as required, to support the efficient management of the ward.
Requirements
  • Currently working or has worked in health or social care.
  • Basic IT skills and ability to work flexibly.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies and procedures.
