Joining this modern accountancy firm as a Senior Accountant, you will undertake a varied role across financial preparation and review for a diverse client base, along with tax and other compliance responsibilities. You will have a hands-on approach for more complex cases, manage and review work, and the role will develop with managerial responsibility over time, increasing client-facing responsibilities and involvement in added value advisory and planning projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance documents for a mixed client base.
  • You will have a strong grounding in financial planning, tax, and general accountancy practice services, and will be looking to progress in your career within a leading firm of chartered accountants.
  • You will work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and provide expert advice and guidance.
  • You will be responsible for managing and reviewing the work of junior team members and contributing to the development of the team.

Requirements:

  • You will be ACA or ACCA-qualified, with one to two years of post-qualified experience gained within an accountancy practice environment at the Senior Accountant level.
  • You will have a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • You will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
