About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatrician to join our team as a Community Consultant Paediatrician. This is a substantive, full-time contract position that requires a strong understanding of community paediatric care and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
  • Work directly with babies, children and young people, and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals
  • Participate in the local Child Protection rota
  • Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • CCT or equivalent
  • Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
