Job Details:

Salary: £105, £139,882 per annum (Pro-rata)

Contract: Substantive

Hours: Full-time: 10 Programmed Activities (DCC:SPA = 7.5)

Location: Gifford House, Thurrock Community Hospital

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to babies, children and young people across South West Essex.
  • Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
  • Work directly with babies, children and young people, and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals.
  • Participate in the local Child Protection rota.
  • Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative.

Requirements:

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • CCT or equivalent
  • Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST

About the Role:

This is a new post and is a substantive, full-time contract. We are currently recruiting to a Community Consultant Paediatrician position in the Integrated Child Health Service at Gifford House, Thurrock Community Hospital.
