Marketing and Communications Specialist Job Description

Job Overview

ProSource Buying Group is a leading buying group for home technology professionals. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team.

To be successful in this role, you must be highly self-motivated, proactive, and have a working knowledge of current marketing tools and strategies in order to execute successful marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities for Marketing and Communications Specialist

  1. Developing and implementing marketing campaigns based on research, consumer behavior, and industry standards.
  2. Determining the best ways to reach target audiences through various media channels such as radio, television, magazines, and online advertisements.
  3. Creating and maintaining an online presence for the company through a website, blog, or social media sites.
  4. Working with designers to create advertisements, brochures, catalogs, or other promotional materials.
  5. Researching new trends in technology, industry standards, and customer preferences in order to create effective marketing strategies.
  6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing plans.
  7. Analyzing data to determine what is working well and what can be improved upon in order to improve performance in future campaigns.

Qualifications for Marketing and Communications Specialist

  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  2. 2-5 years of experience in marketing and communications.
  3. Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as Marketo, Google Analytics, CRM systems, and content management systems.
  4. Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis.
  5. Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail.
  6. Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills.
