Job Opportunity: Support Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Jupiter Recruitment. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily tasks, using the training provided to ensure their needs are met.
  • Support individuals in their daily lives, including social visits, family visits, and days out to local attractions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date paperwork to ensure all necessary information is captured.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, families, and external organizations to provide comprehensive support.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and taking responsibility for the well-being of vulnerable individuals.
  • Effective decision-making and judgment skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Able to achieve all Health and Safety standards.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £11.50 per hour, equivalent to £22,425 per annum.
