We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist to join our Children's Physiotherapy team at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with children and young people, and a strong background in paediatric musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Main Responsibilities- Contribute to the coordination of the paediatric musculoskeletal service, working closely with colleagues to provide high-quality care to children with musculoskeletal complaints.
- Utilize specialist clinical knowledge to assess and treat children and young people with musculoskeletal ailments, and lead the service in this area.
- Work closely with other Clinical Specialists in physiotherapy and occupational therapy, including early years, mainstream and special schools, respiratory, Advanced practice, upper limb and splinting.
- Support the child, family, and/or carers holistically, responding to their specific needs and maximizing their independence and quality of life.
- Support the wider children's physiotherapy team, taking on clinical supervision and mentorship of identified staff within the musculoskeletal aspect of the physiotherapy team.
- Carry clinical responsibility for a group of clients within a defined caseload, liaising and acting as a specialist resource within the multi-disciplinary and multi-agency team.

- Recognized Physiotherapy degree or equivalent qualification.
- Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council.
- Postgraduate training in Paediatric physiotherapy.
- Sound personal management skills, including time management, prioritizing, and planning.
- Good working knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection.
- Significant experience in working with children and young people with musculoskeletal difficulties.
- Evidence of continued professional development in the area of clinical specialism.
