Job Summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Scientist to join their team. As a Biomedical Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and analyzing results to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results
  • Develop and implement new laboratory procedures and protocols as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • HCPC Registration as a Biomedical Scientist
  • IBMS approved degree
  • Evidence of participation in CPD
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
