Junior Financial Controller Apprenticeship

Job Summary

We are seeking an ambitious College Leaver (AAT Apprentice) to join our Finance team, who has a drive and willingness to learn. You will be responsible for a range of accountancy duties to kickstart your finance career, from invoicing and expense allocation, and making sure the entries are always correct, up to date and comply with national and international accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Approving staff expenses in line with policy and HMRC rules
  • Posting and sending client invoices and purchase invoices
  • Bank postings and reconciliations
  • Management of trade receivables and resolving issues with the business
  • Crown Commercial Services reconciliation
  • Credit Card reconciliation

Requirements

  • Hold A Levels or Equivalent, ideally in a Business, Mathematics, or Economics discipline
  • Have a flair and natural interest in finance, corporate control environments, and accounting
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Ability to work well towards deadlines
  • A team player willing to assist and support other staff members as required
  • A loyal individual looking to progress within the firm and become a long-standing team member
  • Able to communicate excellently in English, both verbally and in writing

Training and Development

You will have the opportunity to develop a view of the business and understand how Netcompany's financial model operates. The position enables you to get an understanding of the financial controls and KPIs that drive a business like Netcompany. In addition to this, you will be part of our finance team, where you can develop yourself and gain valuable work experience within a multinational finance team.
