Senior Forensic Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Forensic Psychologist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare Limited. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to our service users.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Work: You will hold a caseload of clinical work, including conducting individual and group psychological assessments and interventions, and developing formulations.
- Specialist Clinical Advice: You will provide specialist clinical advice, including assessing care needs and developing, implementing, and evaluating programs of care within the service.
- Collaborative Risk Assessment and Management: You will take a lead in collaborative risk assessment and management for individual patients, supporting input from other members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Supervision and Training: You will supervise junior members of the department, including psychologists in training and assistant psychologists.
- Clinical Governance and Ethics: You will maintain the highest standards of clinical governance, ethical practice, and data protection.
- Qualifications: You must have a BPS-recognised psychology degree and be HCPC registered.
- Experience: You must have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience of supervising others and working with forensic clients.
- Skills and Knowledge: You must have a strong understanding of evidence-based psychological practice, experience of applying psychological knowledge to a forensic/clinical setting, and experience of working with clients with cognitive deficits.
- Research and Project Work: You must have previous experience of conducting research and project work.
