We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Forensic Psychologist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare Limited. As a Senior Forensic Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to our patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals in the delivery of forensic mental health services.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to manage risk.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Hold a recognized qualification in psychology (e.g., BPS recognized psychology degrees).
- Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Have Chartered Psychologist status and relevant post-graduate qualifications.
- Be an approved supervisor within the guidelines of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and relevant division.
- Have experience of working in a forensic mental health setting.
- Have knowledge of evidence-based psychological practice.
- Have experience of conducting research and project work.
- An annual salary of £51,000-£58,000 (dependent on experience).
