Job Title: Data Ethics Specialist

Join Moody's Data Solutions as a Data Ethics Specialist and contribute to the development of our data model. As a member of the Publication Operations team, you will be responsible for managing the data model through our data pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the availability and publication of key data domains for entities: firmographics, financial statements, directors/managers, and shareholder structures.
  • Help in documenting the data dictionary.
  • Coordinate and provide Logical Data Model information across the business, especially among engineers and product strategists.
  • Maintain and update the data model based on stakeholder requests following the data model governance operational workflow.
  • Keep improving the data model governance operational workflow.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or related major; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of professional Data Operations experience particularly focusing on the data models area.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills which bring clarity and precision to help management understand and visualize complex material to support organizational decision-making.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to recognize and comprehend complex issues, processes, and requirements regarding managing large data sets.
  • Experience with Data Modelling tools.
  • Experience writing SQL and/or Python queries.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server Architecture as well as NoSQL frameworks.
  • Nice-to-have French language knowledge.
