Job Opportunity: Maintenance Team Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at Dove & Hawk Property Recruitment. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance professionals, overseeing day-to-day operations, and reporting to the Head of Property Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of maintenance professionals, including maintenance coordinators and in-house maintenance contractors
  • Cover maintenance coordinator roles when they are off sick or on annual leave
  • Organize contractors and works for bi-annual servicing
  • Deal with maintenance complaints and resolve issues efficiently
  • Source new contractors and negotiate quotes
  • Sign off large invoices and ensure accurate financial management
  • Carry out weekly maintenance meetings to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

  • Proven management experience within the property industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with tenants and contractors
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management
  • Ability to multitask and work accurately under pressure
  • Ability to use own initiative and make informed decisions

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
