About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at Dove & Hawk Property Recruitment. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance professionals, overseeing day-to-day operations, and reporting to the Head of Property Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of maintenance professionals, including maintenance coordinators and in-house maintenance contractors
- Cover maintenance coordinator roles when they are off sick or on annual leave
- Organize contractors and works for bi-annual servicing
- Deal with maintenance complaints and resolve issues efficiently
- Source new contractors and negotiate quotes
- Sign off large invoices and ensure accurate financial management
- Carry out weekly maintenance meetings to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Proven management experience within the property industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with tenants and contractors
- Excellent organizational skills and time management
- Ability to multitask and work accurately under pressure
- Ability to use own initiative and make informed decisions
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
