Enterprise Risk Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Risk Manager to join our team at AIG. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across our global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure consistency with our Group's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
- Contribute to the development of our response to regulatory initiatives and market developments.
- Monitor regulatory and market developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with risk owners to promote a culture of risk awareness and best practice across our organization.
- Assist in the maintenance of our Risk Register and other risk management documentation.
- Implement our Risk Policy, including risk appetite for each risk category.
- Document and maintain our risk appetites, tolerances, and acknowledgements.
- Conduct risk assessments for prescribed risks, including deep dives.
- Aggregate and report risk information from various sources.
- Monitor and record changes in our risk profile, including the effectiveness of our control environment.
- Record, monitor, and investigate risk events/incidents and risk management actions.
- Assist in the completion of our Own Risk and Solvency Report as required.
- Utilize our RSA Archer GRC System to manage our risk management process.
- Design and run reports in accordance with business needs from RSA Archer.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues on risk management matters.
- Support the development and use of our Internal Model in collaboration with our Capital Modelling team.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Senior Risk Analyst or Risk Manager within the insurance industry.
- London market experience is preferred.
- Risk Management and CII qualification are preferred but not essential.
- Highly motivated and a self-starter.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- Good negotiation and influencing skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, as well as databases.
