About the role
The Accounts Payable Administrator will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy and establishing strong working relationships with colleagues across the division. This position is responsible for resolving invoice queries, improving automated invoice matching, and driving best practice in financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve invoice queries by liaising with AP, internal and external partners.
- Continuously improve Invoice Automation rates.
- Review and update internal processes and procedures.
- Work across teams to achieve set objectives/targets.
Compliance:
- Comply with best practice for the team within Financial Operations.
- Participate in day-to-day operation of the team as directed by the Team Leader.
- Responsible for the effective delivery of service to internal and external partners.
- Comply with Service Level Agreements, Task Level Descriptions (TLD's) and Key Performance Indicators.
- Comply with the appropriate control and audit mechanisms in line with the Company policy.
- Liaison with internal customers, group finance, internal and external auditors and others as required.
- Deliver a strong customer focus and quality service as part of the team.
Other Duties:
- The post holder will be expected to undertake any task consistent with the post that may be required by the business.
- The post holder will be encouraged to recommend and be involved in the implementation of process changes to deliver continuous improvement of standard processes.
