Head of Procurement

We are seeking an experienced Head of Purchasing to help us scale the production of OX Trucks. As a key member of our Central Truck Team, you will collaborate closely with our Technical Director and support all our engineering teams.
Our ideal candidate has established relationships with suppliers in the automotive/EV industry and can directly impact our procurement strategy. You will have significant ownership over our buying processes and standards, with a focus on reducing the Bill of Materials (BOM) and production time without compromising field reliability.
We offer flexible hybrid working, with the expectation that you will spend some time each week with our engineers at our workshop. You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about empowering communities and driving positive change through improving access to transport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support buyers in major negotiations and maintain a consistent, optimized approach across all teams
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to reduce BOM and production time
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure field reliability
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers in the automotive/EV industry
