Design and Development Engineer

Our client, a leading design and manufacturing company, is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled design and development engineer to join their team at CV Technical.

This exciting opportunity will involve working on a variety of new design assignments, with a focus on product development and innovation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full design process, from concept to completion, and will work closely with the field technical services team to ensure seamless product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Adhere to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
  2. Support and assist the field technical services team in the development and implementation of new products.
  3. Provide technical support for the determination of industry and legislative data for both internal and external customers.
  4. Ensure that CAD systems and data storage are maintained and secure for the protection of company data and IP.
  5. Facilitate the manufacture and testing of new and existing products.
  6. Provide drawing and technical administration support to business operations.
  7. Champion continuous improvement for all aspects of the product development environment, processes and equipment.
  8. Basic knowledge of CAD software.
  9. Good ability with Microsoft software.
  10. Formal engineering qualification or suitable experience.
