Job Title: Employee Relations Advisor

Connells Group HQ is seeking a skilled Employee Relations Advisor to join our team. As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing first-line employee relations advice to our colleagues and assisting line managers in understanding and optimizing our processes, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Relations Support: Provide prompt, persuasive, and effective employee relations advice to managers and employees, evaluating risk and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Coaching and Development: Coach and develop line managers' autonomy by supporting them through our processes, policies, and procedures, and providing training to the wider People Team and the Business.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships and work collaboratively with the Employee Relations Specialist Team to refer and resolve employee relations cases in a seamless way.
  • Policy Expertise: Be seen as an expert in understanding People policy and take ownership of the flexible working process, including making changes on the system.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continually develop your own understanding of employment legislation and work closely with the ER Advisory Manager to build knowledge and share best practice within the ER Advisory team and beyond.
