Employee Relations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our People Team at Connells Group HQ. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering a first-class customer-focused Employee Relations service to our colleagues throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Relations Case Management: You will be responsible for managing employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, ill health, flexible working, redundancy, and contractual changes.
  • Coaching and Influencing: You will provide coaching and guidance to colleagues to help them manage employee relations cases effectively.
  • Communication and Collaboration: You will work closely with the ER Advisory team, ER Specialists, and other business teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration on employee relations matters.
  • Training and Development: You will provide training to ER Advisors and other colleagues to help them develop their skills and knowledge in employee relations.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: You will work with the People Team to develop and implement new employee relations policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Employee Relations Experience: You will have experience in employee relations case management, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, ill health, flexible working, redundancy, and contractual changes.
  • Coaching and Influencing Skills: You will have strong coaching and influencing skills to help colleagues manage employee relations cases effectively.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: You will have excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues across the business.
  • Training and Development Skills: You will have experience in providing training and development to colleagues to help them develop their skills and knowledge in employee relations.
