Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Delivery
    • Manage large-scale projects, often simultaneously, and align appropriate resources to deliver results.
    • Lead a team to deliver projects based on skill and experience, while advising on best practices and troubleshooting.
    • Accountable for determining the scope of Integrated Production elements with projects, thinking commercially about resource utilization.
    • Responsible for creating and managing project timelines and plans to ensure programs are on track.
    • Develop and approve budgets, timelines, and manage suppliers to meet client and business needs.
    • Oversee the quality of project work delivered across all relevant departments.
  • Talent Management
    • Contribute to the identification and recruitment of top industry talent.
    • Understand and communicate knowledge of skill sets and abilities across the Integrated Production department.
    • Support the Head of Integrated Production in casting the right resources for accounts and projects.
    • Demonstrate strong leadership attributes, managing large teams, driving change, and challenging the status quo.
    • Communicate performance expectations to line reports and project teams.
    • Nurture, grow, and develop the team.
    • Drive and support talent initiatives as needed.
  • New Business Development
    • Manage Integrated Production elements of the pitch process.
    • Provide engaging and inspiring responses to RFPs on time and on budget.
    • Develop detailed budgets for relevant areas of a pitch brief.
    • Attend and present pitch presentations as required.
    • Promote GPJ through best practice.
  • Creative
    • Translate client requirements into a creative brief for complex project activations.
    • Collaborate with Creative Directors to shape ideas and develop concepts.
    • Work across teams for flawless concept development.
    • Understand the agency's creative processes and communicate them to project teams.
  • Client Relationships
    • Manage and retain key client projects.
    • Partner with the Head of Integrated Production to provide transparency on project deliverables and manage client expectations.
    • Understand client objectives and ensure project outputs meet those objectives.
    • Present a clear vision of success to gain client confidence.
  • Finance
    • Accountable for the profitability of projects and protecting commercial health.
    • Manage project forecasting and ensure utilization percentage and productivity meet annual requirements.
    • Identify and deliver commercial opportunities through additional revenue or cost savings.
    • Lead complex budget reconciliations as needed.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience:

  • 10+ years' experience at project lead level.
  • Experience leading large project teams across multiple disciplines.
  • Extensive experience in all elements of live event production.
  • Significant experience managing large, complex projects.
  • Experience managing and reconciling large, complex budgets.
  • Previous line management experience.
  • Experience responding to clients with digital, social media, or tech solutions.
  • Strong understanding of financial software.
