Job Title: Advanced Healthcare Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Healthcare Practitioner to join our team at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) service.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a complex caseload of patients, providing specialist clinical skills, and working autonomously to develop and implement treatment plans. You will have the opportunity to work closely with highly skilled consultants and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of patients with complex medical and surgical presentations
  • Provide specialist clinical skills, including advanced physical assessment and history taking
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, working autonomously and in collaboration with consultants
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, including audit and research
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior staff
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse/Allied Healthcare Professional with experience at senior level
  • Independent Prescriber with successful completion of non-medical prescribing
  • Completed an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice at Level 7 and relevant capabilities
  • Member of Royal College or Chartered society of physiotherapy
  • Member of relevant clinical special interest groups
