Account Manager Opportunity

Atomic Recruitment is partnering with a leading independent firm in London's West End to find an experienced Account Manager or Assistant Manager to join their team.

About the Role

The firm specializes in the Media & Entertainment space, working with a diverse range of artists, actors, and record labels. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of 20+ clients, overseeing day-to-day business management and accountancy, and providing a personal service tailored to their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client-facing management of a portfolio of clients, including music artists, artist management companies, and charities.
  • Overseeing all aspects of financial and personal affairs, including tour scheduling, international withholding tax mitigation, and VAT recovery.
  • Reviewing royalty accounting, preparing royalty analyses, and providing financial information, including detailed variance analysis and net asset statements.
  • US quarterly tax and management account reporting, and liaison with overseas conglomerates.
  • Working closely with the Accounts & Tax Department to prepare year-end accounts and tax returns.
  • Business administration matters, such as managing bank accounts and processing payments runs on behalf of clients.
  • Representing the firm at music industry events.
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice firm.
  • Experience with accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or Twinfield.
  • Previous experience with media clients is desirable.
