Management Accountant

Career Legal Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for compiling and producing detailed management accounts and budgets, ensuring the on-going improvement in quality of output for the purposes of providing more meaningful management information to the London & Brussels management and NY accounting teams.
Responsibilities- Compile and produce detailed management accounts and budgets.
- Prepare monthly management accounts reporting.
- Produce monthly budgetary control variance analysis.
- Review and prepare monthly G/L analysis detail.
- Prepare quarterly partnership tax accounts accrual reporting.
- Assist with annual partnership UK Tax return and PAYE settlement agreement expense analysis.
- Manage London office quarterly VAT return.
- Review of weekly invoice & expenses payment runs.
- Support Finance Supervisor with accounting projects.
- Daily report to Finance Supervisor regarding all work duties & tasks.
- Degree educated, a BA in Accounting or similar preferred.
- Legal or professional services accounting experience, 5+ years required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience of using Elite 3E or a comparable accounting system required.
- Working knowledge of UK Solicitors Accounts Rules.
- Strong understanding of AML compliance rules.
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
