About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Sirona care & health. As a key member of our administration team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative processes.

As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support to our team, including diary management, meeting organisation, and data quality monitoring. You will also be required to support the development and implementation of administrative processes, including appointment booking, workforce allocation, and caseload management.

In addition to your administrative duties, you will also be responsible for providing training and mentoring to new staff and existing colleagues, and will work closely with our Band 5 admin lead to plan and maintain adequate staffing levels.

We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have a strong background in administration, with experience of working in a similar role. You will also have a range of IT skills, including electronic communication, text processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the team, including diary management and meeting organisation.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality, including appointment booking, workforce allocation, and caseload management.
  • Support the development and implementation of administrative processes.
  • Provide training and mentoring to new staff and existing colleagues.
  • Work closely with the Band 5 admin lead to plan and maintain adequate staffing levels.
Person Specification
  • NVQ 3 in administration or equivalent training/demonstrable experience.
  • Numeracy and Literacy level 2 qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Experience of administration work relevant to the position applied for.
  • Knowledge of diary management and organising meetings/clinics/events.
  • Range of IT skills including electronic communication, text processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
