About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Development/Design Engineer to join our team at Kinetica. As a key member of our New Product Development (NPD) department, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative products for the scientific instrumentation industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop pressurized interfaces for scientific instruments/equipment to meet ASMR design standards and pressure directives.
  • Lead the design and testing of new products in collaboration with internal departments, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Update existing product designs in response to change requests, specifications, and quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain awareness of the latest manufacturing and engineering techniques.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience using 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks or proven adaptability if not.
  • Hands-on experience designing and testing pressurized or hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to travel within the UK or abroad as needed.
  • Ability to work onsite full time.
  • Project management experience.
