Senior Product Development Engineer – Scientific Instrumentation – SE London/Kent
We are looking for an experienced Product Development/Design Engineer with experience in designing pressurised or hydraulic systems to join the NPD department of an expanding instrumentation industry in the Southeast London/ Kent. This is a varied role that encompasses product design, prototype building and testing.

Design pressurised interfaces for scientific instruments/equipment to ASMR design standards and pressure directives.
Lead the design and testing of new products in collaboration with internal departments.
Ensure that existing product designs are updated according to change requests, specifications and quality and regulatory requirements.
Maintain an awareness of the latest manufacturing and engineering techniques.

Educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline.
Experience using 3D CAD software, ideally SolidWorks or proven adaptability if not.
Hands-on experience designing and testing pressurised or hydraulic systems.
Ability to travel within the UK or abroad as needed.
Ability to work onsite full time.
Project management experience.
