About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Malmaison York. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef in maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team to achieve excellent results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas, ensuring they align with the brand's culinary vision.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute special events, such as weddings and banquets.
  • Monitor and control kitchen inventory, minimizing waste and optimizing resource allocation.
