Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Assystem. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality management and control services to support client projects.
  • Ensure adherence to contracted quality requirements and establish project-specific quality arrangements.
  • Collaborate with project functions and the supply chain to deliver quality consistently and safely.
  • Maintain quality records, including Life Time Quality Records (LTQR) and Manufacturing Inspection and Test (MIT) Plans.
  • Undertake surveillance and inspection activities, including audits and data capture.
  • Provide guidance on acceptability criteria and product quality.
  • Manage non-conformance processes and facilitate timely closure of non-conformance reports.
  • Contribute to planning and lead work stream and cross-project audits.

Requirements:

  • Experience in large project environments, preferably in the nuclear or heavily regulated sector.
  • Significant focus on product/project quality roles and specific engineering discipline knowledge.
  • Dynamic individual with a solid understanding of quality control principles and process management.
  • Good awareness of working in an international quality environment.
  • Experience planning and conducting internal and supplier audits.
  • Ability to carry out inspections to appropriate standards.
  • Experience in reviewing quality records and analyzing quality data.
  • Pro-active and flexible, with the ability to plan and work on own initiative.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English language, preferably with some French or second language skills.
  • Practitioner Grade Member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) or equivalent engineering institute.
  • Qualified to HNC/Diploma/C&G level as a minimum.
  • Apprenticeship in an engineering discipline.
  • Formally recognized qualification in Quality.
