The Hope & Anchor LTD is a renowned riverside pub, restaurant & inn nestled in the heart of Ross-On-Wye, offering a unique dining experience with multiple options, including a traditional pub bar, modern cocktail bar, two restaurants, a riverside hut, and a spacious garden with outdoor seating and entertainment areas.

We are part of the Country House Weddings portfolio, backed by over 30 years of experience in catering, customer service, and event planning and management, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service.

Our team is comprised of expert chefs, enthusiastic bar and wait staff, experienced managers, and dedicated housekeepers, all working together to provide outstanding service across all areas of our venue.

Job Role

Waiting Duties

We are seeking confident, friendly, and polite waiting staff to greet, host, and serve guests with a smile.

Responsibilities include:

  • Taking food and drinks orders
  • Delivering orders to tables
  • Taking payment for products sold
  • Clearing tables and utensils at the end of service
  • Awareness of allergens (full training provided)
