About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our production team and drive operational excellence. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing production processes, ensuring high-quality products, and meeting customer demands.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide employees towards common goals. They will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and instructions across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and conduct activities within the production department to achieve company objectives.
- Identify and report deviations from planned requirements, implementing corrective actions as needed to meet production objectives and KPIs.
- Take a hands-on approach to understanding and facilitating the daily needs of the production team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Actively support recruitment, development, and training of staff, fostering a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Manage and coordinate KPIs to continuously enhance manufacturing performance, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations.
- Proven experience in leading a production department within the pharmaceuticals or medical devices sectors.
- An engineering or university degree is preferred; however, other relevant qualifications or equivalent experience will be considered.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on motivating and guiding employees. Must possess both technical and administrative skills and be well-versed in quality tools and systems specific to pharmaceuticals or medical devices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and instructions across all levels of the organization.
- Target- and results-oriented with a proactive approach to achieving objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high degree of self-motivation.
- Strong analytical skills to effectively identify and resolve problems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a working knowledge of ERP systems.
