About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Controls Analyst to join our team at Post Office. As an IT Controls Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a risk-based IT Governance framework to successfully reduce risk.

You will support the design, implementation, and delivery of IT Controls, acting as the central point for developing, maintaining, monitoring, and enforcing IT policies and procedures. You will also review existing process alignment and support the adoption of industry best practices (COBIT, NIST, ISO, etc.).

In addition, you will participate with other teams to enhance the ServiceNow platform, ensure updates are communicated to key stakeholders and suppliers.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in IT Controls, Governance, and Risk Management
  • A University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant IT experience
  • Familiarity with COBIT or equivalent frameworks, ServiceNow or other GRC tools
  • Familiarity with Office365 tools (or similar)
  • Enthusiastic, self-starting, and enjoys change and a dynamic environment
  • Ability to learn information quickly and apply considerations which impact downstream decisions
  • Able to self-motivate, organize, and take responsibility for own workload to ensure that deadlines and objectives are met
  • A confident written and verbal communicator, able to clearly explain ideas to non-technical audiences, and work effectively with non-technical colleagues and business executives
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and effectively balance multiple responsibilities
