Inventory Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Manager to join our client's team in a CleanTech company. The successful candidate will work closely with the Material Controller to ensure the delivery of materials, address discrepancies, and manage supplier returns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track deliveries, investigate missing materials/parts, and ensure the availability of goods.
  • Liaise with the production team to ensure efficient material management and optimize workflows.
  • Conduct goods assessments and inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Perform regular stocktakes to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal audits.
  • Create kits of parts for production, issue parts on time to the production line, and collect empty stillages.
  • Monitor the shelf life of stock and implement strategies to minimize waste.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of inventory management principles.
  • Previous experience using inventory management systems/software and a strong analytical mindset.
  • Excellent understanding of Health & Safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Demonstrate experience with resolving stock discrepancies and issues, and a strong problem-solving approach.
  • Strong communication skills with excellent teamwork qualities and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
