About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Receptionist to join our Adult Critical Care team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to our critical care unit, ensuring the smooth running of our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the critical care team, including managing patient records, updating patient information, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Manage the reception area, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and providing general administrative support.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.
Requirements
- GCSE/O-Level or equivalent standard in English and Maths.
- Computer literacy, including typing skills and experience using Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and use initiative.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable.
