We are seeking a highly skilled HV Cable Project Manager to join our team at Siemens Energy in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. As a key member of our Systems delivery team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of turnkey HV substation projects for one of our key customers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of the project, including technical, procurement, and quality information.
- Maintain high standards of Health and Safety throughout the project.
- Identify and handle potential risks, variations, and opportunities.
- Coordinate the programme and costs of the project.
- Prepare Monthly Progress Reports and engage with customers on discussions and technical queries.
- Support the tendering department on future project opportunities.
We are looking for a candidate with Project Engineering/Contract Management experience in the Transmission & Distribution Industry. You should have a strong understanding of Transmission & Distribution standards and technologies, as well as knowledge of Substation Primary & Secondary Systems.
It is essential that you have a good knowledge and understanding of current Health and Safety and Environmental Regulations, as well as Risk Management processes. Experience in contractual management, particularly with NEC, is also required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, along with a strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and proactive approach.
