HV Cables CAD Engineer

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Siemens Energy as a CAD Engineer for High Voltage Cables. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality CAD models for HV cables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop CAD models for HV cables, including 2D and 3D drawings, and Single Line Diagrams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that CAD models meet project requirements and company standards.
  • Review and implement changes to CAD models based on project feedback and updates.
  • Prepare project as-built drawings and review and check as-builts and H&S files for turnkey projects.
  • Assist with project tender packages specific to cabling and coordinate with internal and external teams as required.
  • Provide support and mentorship to junior team members and assist with training and development.
  • Ensure that CAD models are accurate, complete, and meet company standards.

Requirements

  • Experience in utilizing AutoCAD 2D and 3D and BIM 360 Modelling.
  • Background in handling 3D Cable Routing and Single Line Diagrams.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and project budgets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results.
