Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Customer Account Manager to join our thriving logistics team at Aspion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to clients, ensuring the efficient and effective management of their transport needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the transport requirements of assigned clients, ensuring all deliveries are planned, coordinated, and executed in line with client expectations and company standards.
  • Coordinate with Distribution Centers and subcontractors to arrange and confirm delivery schedules, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Review, verify, and process invoices, addressing and resolving any discrepancies or queries promptly.
  • Handle queries from customers, subcontract hauliers, and warehousing sites via various communication channels, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and effectively.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar transport customer service role.
  • Proven ability to manage and nurture client relationships, with demonstrable examples of successfully supporting client needs and expectations.
  • Practical knowledge and experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS), including STO and Order Management, for efficient transport planning and execution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex problems, make decisions under pressure, and manage tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring data integrity and reliability in all aspects of the role.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with colleagues and clients at all levels.
  • Understanding of transport-related costs, including haulage, demurrage, and storage, with the ability to track and manage these effectively.
