Join Our Team as a Senior Process Safety Consultant

Axiom Engineering Associates Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Safety Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Process Safety Group, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and growth of our Process Safety & Process Safety Engineering Services business.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Process Safety professional with a strong background in COMAH, Project Safety Management (PSM), Project HAZOPS, and other process safety areas. Your expertise will enable you to work closely with our engineering services teams to develop Process Safety and Process Safety Engineering as complementary services to our existing asset integrity services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality process safety services to our clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with our Commercial team and Business Development to win new business and grow our Process Safety & Process Safety Engineering Services.
  • Develop and maintain our Process Safety competency management, standards, methodologies, work processes, procedures, and enabling tools/systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest process safety trends, legislation, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • A degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, preferably Chemical or Process Engineering.
  • Excellent communication and technical report writing skills.
  • Strong experience in process safety areas, including COMAH, PSM, Project HAZOPS, and others.
  • Proficiency in using recognised software for dispersion modelling, fire and overpressure effects.
  • Strong knowledge and network within the Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Oil & Gas, Food, Bulk Storage & Distribution, Renewables, and Power sectors.
