Job Title: Process Safety Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Consultant to join our team at Jackson Hogg Ltd. As a key member of our Process Safety Group, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and growth of our Process Safety & Process Safety Engineering Services business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead team/individual assignments, manage fee rate and utilisation to deliver agreed contribution.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial team and Business Development to win work.
  • Support the development of company Process Safety competency management, standards, methodologies, work processes, procedures and enabling tools/systems.
  • Engage actively in key external organisations, such as professional bodies and subject groups.
  • Deliver technical training courses and present papers at events.
  • Lead/chair meetings with multiple customer stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with Process Safety trends, legislation and identify areas for growing developing capabilities.
Requirements:
  • A degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, preferably Chemical or Process Engineering.
  • Chartered with an appropriate Institution or equivalent.
  • 10+ years experience as a Process Safety Specialist operating within the target sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant UK legislation in this sector (e.g. COMAH, DSEAR and related codes/standards).
  • Strong experience providing leadership and consultancy support across a range of process safety areas.
