Take your career to the next level by joining our team of experts at Axiom Engineering Associates Ltd. As a Senior Process Safety Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients to maximise their asset integrity and minimise risk.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with our engineering services teams to develop Process Safety and Process Safety Engineering as complementary services to our existing asset integrity services. This includes Materials, Mechanical, and Inspection services, giving us a unique ability to deliver total solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional client service, meeting quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial team and Business Development to win work at target fee rates.
  • Support the development of AXIOM Process Safety and Process Safety Engineering competency management, standards, methodologies, work processes, procedures, and enabling tools/systems.
  • Operate as an experienced Process Safety consultant in the industry, staying up-to-date with trends, legislation, and identifying areas for developing capabilities.
Requirements
  • A degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, preferably Chemical or Process Engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills, including technical report writing and reviewing.
  • Strong experience providing leadership and consultancy support across a range of process safety areas, including COMAH, Project Safety Management (PSM), Project HAZOPS, and more.
  • Strong experience of using recognised software for dispersion modelling, fire and overpressure effects.
  • Strong knowledge and network within target sectors/regions, including Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Oil & Gas, Food, Bulk Storage & Distribution, Renewables, and Power.
