At Appleseed, we're on a mission to help impact organizations design solutions that stick. We're seeking a seasoned Senior Behavioral Researcher & Strategist to join our team as a Deputy role on upcoming projects in Madagascar, Rwanda, and Bangladesh.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a globally distributed team, conducting research and strategy work for clients in these countries. As a Senior Behavioral Researcher & Strategist, you'll be responsible for delivering world-class service to our clients, preparing for and conducting investigative research in the field, analyzing data and reporting insights, producing strategic recommendations, and upholding Appleseed's brand promise to clients.
We're looking for someone with a strong background in behavioral research and strategy, with a proven track record of delivering impact and client satisfaction. If you're passionate about using qualitative research and behavioral science to design impactful strategies, and have a heart for social impact, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:- Deliver impact and client satisfaction by supporting the Project Lead and executing engagements from start to finish.
- Conduct investigative research in the field, analyzing data and reporting insights.
- Produce strategic recommendations and guide clients to internalize findings and accept recommendations.
- Manage and train junior team members and possibly other freelancers to achieve objectives on-method, on-time, and on-budget.
- Significant practical experience and theoretical knowledge in behavioral research and strategy.
- Proven track record of delivering impact and client satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a globally distributed team and collaborate with clients and team members in different time zones.
- Strong writing skills and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
- A competitive project fee in the range of USD $16,000-20,000 (negotiable), which includes all applicable taxes.
